Sara Lynn Evans, born on February 5, 1971 in New Franklin Missouri was raised as the eldest out of 7 siblings. She has always loved music and began singing with her family at age 5. In the nightclub of Columbia Missouri, she started playing when she reached at the age of 16. The gig lasted for 2 years. Then she made the move into Nashville Tennessee in 1991 with the intention to become a country singer. Sara was performing a tune from Harlan Howard's Tiger By the Tail in County Q Studios when he saw her. He decided to let Sara sing his music. The singer signed a deal with RCA. Evans dropped Three Chords and the Truth in 1997 as her first album of studio work in 1997. The album was praised by critics for the return to country music and included it on a number of their top ten of lists. The album, however, did not make it to the Top 40 of The radio station. New York born, she was raised on Long Island. After moving to France in search of creating a successful career as a fashion model, she began her journey in France. Later on, she worked as a radio DJ for radio Luxembourg. Later in the 70s, she starred as a feature movie actress as well as in various French film features. Later on, she moved back to America in pursuit of Hollywood. Goodfellas gave her the most Hollywood achievement. The film was rewarded by a number of prestigious awards which included the Academy Award. After directing feature films for some time then she was able to move on to television programs and had great popularity.
